What were you guys thinking when planning for Moab this week? It is not like we already have enough crappy drivers here, but now they want to watch balloons while driving? Not like they have never seen one :rolleyes:. Not to mention all the visitors and road closures, detours etc... Now we have one day before we leave the zoo and not put up with it.

Those driving 80's, what is the recommended tire pressure. I need to set mine, but I have them set for the 4 runner. Wanna get them set tonight before I leave tommorow.

I air to 40psi for the road. It is a bit rough but with mud tires everything is rough.

Psssssttttt, Mike. I think he wants to set his deflators and needs off-road pressure. Of course, he didn't say that. Just an assumption on my part.

Truck is packed and sitting outside my office. I just need to get the wheels balanced after work and toss in something to wear. We're going to Moab, we're going to Moab!

A swing and a miss by ol' Beo! :o

Rudy,
I have rigged up a CO2 regulator with a schrader valve so we can quickly set the deflators. Rory is going to use it when he gets there so we can do yours at the same time.

Mine are set to 16psi.

And I run about 35 psi on the road and 18 on the trail...

As Jon says - We're going to Moab! :flipoff2:

I'm sitting in my office becoming more depressed the closer it gets to you guys leaving for Moab and I'm not. I will go some day. If Rising Sun would just stop planning Cruise Moab for the same weekend every year when I'm 1 or 2 weeks from the end of the semester in school I'd be ok. And then there's the SNL Staff Augmentation Contract debacle that stripped everyone of all their accrued vacation and reset them to zero right in the middle of vacation season on Jul 1 this year.

40th FZJ80. 2 1/2" lift, 305/70 GY MTR, 4xI sliders, ARB (per Pappy!)

Much better. Nothing in this group stays stock for long. :D

You're wheeling and that's that!

Jon and Mike -

I WILL be meeting you guys at 8:00 AM tomorrow. I called Mike this afternoon with some serious doubts about whether I would be able to make the trip tomorrow morning, but the issues at work have resolved themselves. I'll see you at the Rio Puerco gas station at 8:00.

Marc -

I'm sure you'll be able to make the trip soon. Moab is such a blast. You would enjoy it and your Cruiser would do great. Just keep it in mind and it will happen eventually.

I'm mostly packed up and ready to head out. I will need to stop at the City Market when we get to Moab. If we can get a head count of those that will be there and an approximate time then we can make plans for a meeting over dinner.

If that doesn't work then I suggest an 8pm meeting at KOA. That will give us some time to plan the trails for Friday and get a tentative plan for the weekend.

Who said I wasn't? Did your semi-dwarfs leave you? :flipoff2:

We are supposed to be packed? Crap I better get moving. Actually almost everything is by the door waiting to be thrown in. I plan to meet up with Rory and head up with him. Not sure of the exact time but after he picks up his dad and brother.

Sorry guys...but I'm going to bow out.

Wife got a movie gig in ABQ this weekend, and I'm not about to take a 2 and 4 year old to wheel 3 days straight without back up. Have fun and be safe.

You got it right.

Thanks Mike,

I will wait until then. I better get packing. See you guys tommorow.

Moab :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Psssssttttt, Jon, this is where you say "Now there's the spirit!"

Nope. Da'ffy is packed and ready to go.

Now there's the spirit!

Anybody else get this felling that you forgot to pack something? It's driving me nuts.

Mike -

As far as I can tell, the headcount looks like:

Jon, you, me, Rory, his dad and brother, and Rudy. No Graham (too bad!).

No clue what time the Rory and Rudy gang will show up. I could also use a run to the City Market when we get there.
