Nice tundra.

I will have lots of driveshafts, a few 8" diffs, a few 5.29 and 4.10 gear sets, one rear axle shaft, lots of front shafts and birfs, some brake lines, misc t-case internals, and probably plenty more that I'll throw in just for the hell of it. Probably won't bring many extra tools over what I have in the semi and the Gecko already.

wonder if the hurricane is gonna effect @HENDOG ? Looks like his house could be floating by Thursday - Friday.

think his house is pretty much under the red swirly thingy

Will be missing epic surf from that storm as I hopefully start my drive....

Otherwise, my place was under that red swirly thing last year. Result, no power for 5 days (e.g. no a/c) with a pregnant wife who also had the flu, while I was out doing regional damage assessments.

Wait I thought we were going to Moab last year!

Will be a direct hit, and no garage doors on the new shop!!! Guess thats the builders problem.

radios.
I have three in lil truck.
CB
Rugged race FM
Marine. (Most folks dont use Marine.)

I have 2 pairs of FM Handheld race radios. (Steve, we can either do CB or FM in your buggy)

what do you folk typically use? (Central Texas folk yell a lot, East Texas use the middle fanger... Austin people use facebook....)

good topic, most of us have gone HAM and ditched the CBs. You can find one on amazon for around $25

it took me awhile to be convinced but they are FAR superior to CB and we use them in simplex mode. A few have but most do not have a license. I had a spare but think it accidentally got pocketed after GSMTR this year. Someone else might have a spare but if not I'd strongly advise picking one up.

I have my two handheld HAM's plus another one I found on a trail recently that doesn't fit my charger. I think it'll likely fit everyone else's charger though so I'll bring it as a spare (also missing the antenna cause it was broken). The Gecko has a CB still but the mic wire is damaged again from my shifter hitting it, so I can only receive, no transmit.

I have a mounted hi power 2 meter in my 40 and a hand held I use when out of truck. KJ4UPG
I have a spare club 2 m I’ll bring
