Feb 2 update: I've cut off the side rails and weighed the pieces.

Rear beam with the tire carrier is 97lb, and the basket side alone is 57lb (plus a few more if you want bolts/nuts/shackle).

Greyhound is $157 for two pieces totaling 160lb terminal to terminal for most of the country

MN - 4Plus FJ40 Rear Dual Swing Out Carrier w/ Tire & Basket with hitch receiver. Custom side rails added that mount to the frame (coming off a troopy, so 40 owners have to remove/shorten side rails to fit).


Side note: I am also replacing this rear '80-'84 frame member that is pre-drilled with the holes to mount the carrier, so that is available as well.

I'll see if I can figure an estimate w/o the side bars. I just shipped a bench seat with Greyhound, but they have a 100lb max. (it would be $105 with them if it's under 100lb)
