I broke my RH stock Birfield this weekend (backing in a u-turn, up a hill...) Trying to figure out what I need.
I have a 77 fj40, and I understand the early disc 40's (76-78) take a longer shaft, and all the improved barfield replacements (like longfields) are shorter, but I could use them if I also replaced my hub locks (Warn).
I'm interested in upgrading. Any idea if the Longfields you have would work as noted? Can you send me the Longfield kit number, so I could research it?
