For the few that still read this thread......

We took a ride to Natchez this weekend. Took in the sights along the way. We knew rain was coming so we maximized the outside time on Friday and then toured houses on Saturday. Sunday we wandered home.

First stop was Rocky Springs. This is a great bike loop. Uphill on the way to the church and a sweet downhill back to the truck.

We jumped the fence just south of Rocky Springs and checked out the waterfall. Thanks Ron for the tip.

We snuck down to Shaefer House to show the kids then went in search of a great bridge @ntsaint told me about

The bridge is out of service sadly but I hiked around it and have a plan for return

Late lunch at Lorman Store. The kids LOVED it and Mr D loved Red.

We woke up with the rain as expected and we made a slow tour through the Natchez City Cemetery and National Cemetery after a killer breakfast at Natchez Coffee

We then hit Stanton House for a tour. Lots of cool new info on this house. Furniture keeps coming in from Great Grandchildren all over the country that was originally in the house. Just last week they found the dining room table that was too large to ship out when they furniture was gifted to family. Hopefully it will be back in the house soon

We recharged the kids at a cool little coffee shop called Steampunk and listened to a black lady kill it on the house guitar.

We went back to Longwood because, Longwood is awesome. It was raining and cold but this place is so cool even the kids were up for it after the tour started.

Red and I dumped the kids at the hotel and went shopping downtown and ended up at Fat Mamma's drinking margaritas.

Diner at Planet Thailand was surprisingly good and we called it quits pretty early.
