Not technically in MS, but oh well. Went to one of the blue holes in AR, this one is up near Boston off of HWY 16.

They are not kidding about needing a bit of clearance and 4wd.
Apparently we made it basically to the swimming hole, around the last bend another flat straight and then another bend would have put us where we were looking for. But it had been snowing and had a chance of rain. So going solo and not having a winch, we turned around and aheaded back. Strangely this is a real county road in AR. Much further back we a a ford taurus drove past us heading the other way, but the road closer to the highway was pretty standard slightly maintained dirt.
From HWY 16 you take a turn onto a semi marked road with a fence and one of the cattle barriers to drive over. You drive through a field on a well marked dirt road, over another cattle barrier and keep going. At this point I was a little anxious, maybe it wasn't a public road any more etc. But then we saw a guy on a UTV who waved at us, a ford taurus, and then another 3 guys with a UTV checking stands. My wife was non-too happy during most of this and she can be heard in the video below. On our way back out I saw the last set of guys loading up the UTV and I stopped to ask them about the swimming hole. They told me that they had been down the week before on their UTV and that we almost made it, like 100-200 yards. So now I need to go back.
But, this did make the decision for me, I called up Southern Style Offroad and ordered the front bumper, they were having a 15% off sale anyway on their bumpers this weekend, so they they told me to call back on Monday to order the Winch with the 15% coupon from the Crawl.
(shot with the new GoPro 5 Black on the Karma grip by my brother in law that some of you met at the crawl).
