Misfire - Fuel issue / Replace injectors or just clean? / Fuel additives good or bad?

My 94 FZJ80 starting to properly stutter/misfire and rough idled. Particularly bad under load. Initial thought was the plugs and leads so replaced them to no resolve.

Then added 500ml Nulon Petrol System Extreme Clean (per instructions) and seemed to clear the issue right up. Having heard mixed opinions on fuel additives, what is everyone's experience with fuel additives?

Recommendation on getting injectors properly cleaned vs installing new ones?

When mine stats to run a little sluggish when pulling hills I'll run two tanks of gasoline with Lucas injector cleaner.

Puts the spring back in the O'l girls step.
I do this every couple of years.

Rebuild them yourself, it's really that easy. I just did my daughter's V6 injectors. Here's a cleaning machine from Autool company, model CT160. I simply ordered a rebuild kit from Fleabay, which are O rings, grommets and little basket filters then went to town. Yeah, that's "rebuilding" injectors, not really rocket science.
