Mint "80" - Would You Have the Roof Cut Off to Install a Campteq? (1 Viewer)

I left the roof intact to retain the truck's versatility and to keep the sleeping space bug and dust-free, separate from the cabin. Ultimately, this choice of course depends on one's needs. Even with a roof uncut, the Campteq's load capacity (for hauling boats and as a two-shooter photography platform), its form-fit fastening, its low height, and its sound insulation (quieter than without) distinguish it from a hard-shelled roof top tent.
So the Campteq is clamped down to the rain gutters?

Do you want a pop top with access to the cab? Cut away
Do you want to bash it into trees? Smash away
Low rider with giant shiny wheels? Slam it

Even though it's a cherry example, why would you hesitate to use it for what you bought it for?

Well - I did post this yesterday!
" So- I will be calling Campteq. THX for all the input."

Thanks for all the replies. I originally posted this and a bunch of other inquiries about 2 months ago. I took all the advice given and ended up doing a 180 and ended up buying a 2013 Tacoma Access Cab and will be installing an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper to it next month.
