trying to get a solid axle so i can steal the parts for a disk brake swap. Found one at local yard complete without steering arms for $150. fair price?

I've seen many go for around $200.

Definitely. Then turn around and sell the axle and housing to someone looking to do a SAS in a IFS rig. Advertise it on Marlin or Pirate.
