LC gods, did quick/dirty search in forums and manual with no hits.

What is the torque value for the middle seat mounting bolts (that is for 1 seat).

Thanks in advance.

2001lc thanks for digging that up.

In the ensuing more in-depth search of the 2004 FSM, I found the front (drivers) seat to body torque to be 31 Ft-lb, while the back seat (single wide is 27 Ft-lb (ref pg BO-127).

I attest the different torque values to the front seat weighing more than the rt hand seat of middle row. Thought, interestingly, the torque value for the double wide left hand middle row seat (heavier than single wide) is 27 Ft-lb as well (ref page BO119....go figure:doh:

I found in FSM 00 LX470 BO-105 Second row (No.1 & No.2) 30ft-lbf.
BO-106 No.1 30ft-lbf & No.2 27lb-lbf.

I doubt that it matter if 27 or 30Ft-lbf, as mount and bolts are the same for middle row. But I tend to go with higher, since Toyota uses very low torques.

FSM has many translation errors, and those vary by year also.

Than we've torque wrench calibration issues. ;)
