I spoke with a method rep and they were about 99% sure the lip on the center bore that holds the center cap in place would not clear the 100 series front hub with the +35 offset

Having the lip bored out will eliminate the ability to run a center cap and can be expensive. Ask me - I just had a set bored out 😑

Good luck

@Nursebettty I should have clarified that the wheels I had bored were not methods. And there was a ton of meat. They quoted me $30 per wheel (had a set of 5). During the process they called and bumped it up to $50 per wheel. What was I going to do at that point ? I needed wheels yesterday and they had me by the ... live and learn.

Fwiw I had the wheels bored to 110mm and they cleared fine. Could not run the center cap

Those bronze 305s look great on your black 100 😍
Unfortunately it is not my black 100 but was posted by a bloke on an aust fb page when we were discussing the center cap issue.

That is very sneaky of them, i actually had to take mine back also and have them take off another 0.1 after not doing it to spec i needed, fortunately they didnt charge me twice.

Fella I follow on Instagram has done this. Simple and neat solution

I’ve done that 😂

Quick recommendation for everyone with methods. Apply a little silicone to the inside (aka the backside) of the cap (where the plastic and Metal meet). This will help keep the plastic parts on. I’ve lost 2 centers before I did that and now we’re golden.

I did this a while back, another example at post 189. Used a stepped bit & went slow. Works great!

Last i checked Method sells the correct center cap so we dont have to drill it out anymore.

Any idea which cap this is? it still lists caps wont fit on the front for the 703s

I only know the cap they came out with works on the NV 305. I don't know if they have new wheel caps for different wheels.

I took a chance and ordered something to try and make work with my 701s. Honestly I just guessed between the various options because nothing is "supposed" to fit. I'll update asap...

talk us through your thought process and planning, tbh i wouldnt even order before solving this issue. For me its the small things that must work.

Thought process and planning? Pretty simple...$33usd and 5min of my time to see if something will work. If not I'll have a better understanding of what may and can return for that whopping $33 refund.

It is all about the small things and experimentation typically leads to the best solutions, for me anyway.

I have a set of lightly used machined/silver method nv305's for sale in SLC. They are 18" with a +25 offset. They're mounted on nitto ridge grapplers with less than 5k on them.

Would love to see a 100 sporting these:

MRW 316. Anyone?

Do

Do you have a body lift? Any rubbing?
No, Icon stage 1 lift with upper UCA's and alot of trimming. It rubs a little on the front and I took off all of the Hydraulic suspension.

I’m having these installed on my 100 tomorrow! I’ll post pics
That’s awesome and congratulations. Have you decided what tire brand/size will you run with the 316s?
