I have no idea where Kilroy's is in relation to the NIH/Walter Reed. Anyone out there willing to give me a ride to the meeting?

We don't have anyone that comes from that neck of the woods on a regular basis. Are you limited to public transportation? I live in McLean, VA so I'm not very far as the crow flies, but 20 minutes each way from NIH as the traffic crawls. Perhaps I can meet you at the Metro station in W. Falls Church at 6:50pm(Orange Line)? I can probably give you a ride back to your hotel after the meeting, it's just that rush hour traffic headed into MD and back to VA is a real bear until 7:30pm or so.

So, I have no experience with the D.C. Metro system. How reliable is it? Would six inches of snow affect these trains? Any safety issues I should be aware of?

I'm with Jon. There's something fundamentally wrong with a Land Cruiser club waffling over some snow.

I suspect if the snow hits the way the weather guessers say it will, most places will be closed anyway. I submit that we move the meeting to either Thursday or next Wednesday to ensure maximum opportunity for participation since we haven't had an official meeting since January.

I understand the additional times needed in the commute out West whenever "weather" hits NVA. That hour commute quickly turns into three.
