Please tell me I'm not the only one who didn't realize the cup holders could snug up like that.

Please.
Lol not as bad as just trying to use the cup holders WITHOUT the insert- I scratched my head for a while on that one thinking how could they design a cup holder this bad???

how did you find that in carlsbad wow nice find.
Thanks @Lowbudgetlc100 - all i can say is it took alot of patience and I got lucky. She had literally 9 backup offers after me and I was the second caller. Truck spent 14 years in Carlsbad and the last 2 years in Arizona.

When I picked up the truck she told me she had never even used the 4WD. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was a full-time 4WD vehicle.

congrats! i got my 2003 with 140k about two weeks ago and i'm having difficulty keeping the miles off it! the only reason i could even get mine is because the truck hadn't been washed in months and looked like poo (it's white) and the paint needs some cleaning.

i also second the covercraft sunscreen. best money spent! along with my proclip phone holder. no drilling holes or sticking adhesives on my baby.

Thanks @ibrahim83 and congrats on your 2003. My preference for phone holder has been this:

Amazon.com: AUKEY Car Mount Holder with Magnetic Air Vent Technology for Smartphones, Mini Tablets and More: Cell Phones & Accessories

but I have heard great things about the proclip.

How are those? Does the magnet interfere with the phone in any way? I'd think it would mess with is compass, no?

Also, make sure it doesn't break your vents, they're not cheap!
Ive used this one for about 2 months and really like it. Before that I used this:

https://www.amazon.com/TechMatte-Ma...155018&sr=1-1&keywords=magnetic+cd+slot+mount

for about 2 years (same idea just mounts to the CD slot)

GPS works great so no problems for me although others have reported that it screws up the compass- I have not noticed this with my iphone 6s
