22nd works for me too. Are we talking about a run and then food in the afternoon? I'm partial to run Rattlesnake Canyon to Big Bear, but I'll meet you guys anywhere you decide.

The 22nd works for me too. A run sounds good. I have done Cleghorn all the way to Arrowhead a few times. There is a good Pizza place in the village up there. Wheel, then Pizza....MMMMM

Yeah RattleSnake Cyn run up to Big Bear would be a sweet run this time of year.

The Firehouse in Moonridge used to have some really good eats but I’m not sure its still open, somebody told me a big remodeling was going on around there?

Brad do you have any recommendations for dinner after the run in BB?

Can’t make to later on the 22nd because of my sons baseball game at 8:30am , but I could meet up later that day or even lead the run on Sunday the 23rd if people want to go for a sunday run?

Brian

Bummer, I really want to get to know the group for which I adorn the sticker on my LC....

Good possibility you might meet the guy that designed it (see below) if it works out.

So...what have ye decided? I might be able to attend, and 'wheeling and eating are two of my favorite activities.

Yes! March 22 is open for me (no work)! Now I just need to confer with the other half if theres a family thing going on that date.

BTW - Looks like a white out if the JAFW80s show up!

Hmm

The 22nd probably will work for me too. If im going up there maybe I will head up friday and stay at a campground or something. Does anyone know what that area is like as far as weather this time of year?

You guys are killing me, I will be driving back from Moab on the 22nd after attending Easter Heep Safari. I would love to make it but I will be beat from wheeling the entire week on my company’s dime. I know this is ridicules to think they would send me out there with expectations that I like doing this stuff. Sorry but I will not be able to make it.

I dont think Fire HOuse Ribs is open anymore....but there's a good que place called Outlaws and another bbq place called B's. I'd like to try Outlaws, heard good things. edit: just found out that Outlaws is now catering only in Big Bear, too bad

The trail terminates pretty close to my parents house and it was snowing this weekend during all the storms passing through. Difficult to say in a month, but i'd plan on cold nights and 50-60's during the day. You'd be better off staying down in Yucca or cruising over to JTree for the night, wont be as cold and you'll be close to the trailhead to meet up in the AM.

I'm really excited to meet everyone!

Now we are talking March?

Most of April works for me

None of March does!

:(

... I have to go work: which means my company pays me to go out there eat, socialize and wheel. Dam this job is a pain in the ass sometimes.

Waahh! :crybaby:

Some of us wish we had a job that sucked like that!

twenty two! :shotts: twenty two! :shotts: twenty two! :shotts:

Yeah, you got nothing to bitch about Tare. Work could be much worse.:flipoff2:

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys, it means a lot.:D

No worries buddy. I have to admit mine were words of jealousy more than encouragement. ;)

Um. Who's in charge of this fiasco?

Generally the person who starts the thread should take the ball and run with it. But most cases
nobody wants to make a decision. So therefore someone has to jump in and just say.. OK' lets do this!'
People either can make it, or they can't. Simple.

So who wants to take charge? Don't be shy!

D/R Joe hasn't checked in for awhile! Somebody knock on the door (YOU STILL IN THERE?). quick, check his pulse!

Good thing is, there's a little more time 'til ...

Besides, today is Leap Day, isn't this like a national Holiday for Procrastinators everywhere?

IMHO, once a date and time are set, a new thread should be started with the date and time IN THE TITLE

Oh, wait a minute, that would be too easy and make too much sense! :flipoff2:
