Anybody has looked into getting these as front seats?

Are they "Plug & Play" replacement to existing seat connectors and Airbags...?

Any idication of price?

In the second link I like the picture of the more "basic looking" MBS seat, yet with cushion extender and side bolsters.

Lools nice. Doesn't look like they have cooling, which is a deal breaker for me and also what pushes Recaros way up in price. If I could get a basic Recaro, or equivalent price range, with heating/cooling I'd be interested.

Looks like these MBS seats have or can have it all, including cooling, massage, bolsters, seat cushion extender

Very nice!

Yeah, I think they are very nice and a worthy upgrade from the nice looking otherwise average factory seats. Be nice to buy from the Dubai based company and self install unless electric tie in is really complex.

I plan to put Scheelman seats in the RAM but it's a stripper truck and I don't have to worry about all of the electric seat doodads as it doesn't have them from the factory. I will elect for the Scheelman heated seat option though as my wife loves to complain about the lack of those in the truck.

I have an inquiry out to them. I did discover these are not plug and play but instead installed over your stock frames....which in my opinion is an even better proposition.

My padding is getting worn out and my sciatica would probably love the extended popliteal support

Also my wife would dig the massage function.

And upgraded ventilation sounds good.

Maybe a group buy? I will update when I get a response from MBS...

Do you know if the side airbags that pop out of the seats are retained? I'd imagine the replacement allows for it, and that would be a big advantage to an aftermarket seat.

My understanding is that the bolsters and the stitching are probably built for that and the air bags are retained on the OEM frame. They show that in the counterfeit vs genuine MBS page that airbag function is retained.

I thought these were full seats but just changing the pads and adding a few functions is great. Looks very DIY-able and would save on shipping costs.

These sound awesome but the price is astronomical. Thigh support adjustment is a big miss on this truck. Specially the LX. Even a manual adjustment would be great like some much cheaper vehicles get.

Another option (and the reason I am interest as I have a 535d with the same and know how awesome they are) are installing a pair of BMW F10 comfort seats. They have ventilation, adjustable side bolsters, split back to adjust lower and upper body angle, butt… massage and seat extension (leg support). You can drive a whole day and not feel tired or get numb feeling in butt or legs. Challenges of course rail fitment, electrical hook up and airbag control… An electric puzzle with the need to install an additional seat vent button probably on the side of the seat.

Yeah then there is the whole fitting. Electrical. Airbag.

Let’s hope that cost was maybe for the an entire seat with frame and golden fairies installing the car and shipping your car back to you via airliner.

Let’s see what they say.

I was hoping a 1000-1500 per seat.

Pipe dream. Doesn’t look like that company messes around. Further, OEM seats are multi-thousand dollars already.

Ever pick one up? They’re about 20x heavier than any other car seat out there.

That’s close… post was 6 years ago….Group buy and some Negotiating if we can get a good number…I just replied to their UK distributor asking about details before giving me a quote. Radio silence from
Dubai.

Those would be so nice and less than 2K on eBay.
BMWs has very comfortable seats. Shame on Toyota for not having a thigh extender in the 200.
They should just have BMW make the seats for them.
