I have my 2021 LX up for sale. I got rid of the 3rd row as there is a trekbox in place and I knew I'd never use them. Potential buyer would like the option to retrofit them down the road. No seats appear to be for sale anywhere. Here, ebay, anywhere.

Did everyone just toss them? Or are they sitting dust covered in attics after 2 house moves like my last 100 series seats? Not worth advertising since no one usually wants them?

Curious for the answer, plus this is a shameless plea for a set since more 200 eyes here than on the parts forum. Thanks all!

assume the lc seats don't help you? i have a set of those sitting in my basement.

No, unfortunately not the same. But I really appreciate the offer.

I did a quick search and heres a few:

Will 2013 LX seats work?

I don't believe they do unfortunately.

If you find out that they might, I'll be in the Portland area on Thursday and could bring them with me to see if they do. Black from a 2013.

Mixed information on fit actually. I'm working on the information that they don't. But I don't see any reason the mechanics would have changed. Upholstery difference is not an issue. Anyone have thoughts?

may want to try and check the part numbers for each model year as a starting point to see if they match

I've grabbed a VIN from a 2013 and a 2021 and put them both into Partsouq. Most of the parts share the same part numbers, including the seat frame, cushions, and striker plates. I'm not having any luck finding a part number for the seat assembly unfortunately. If the assembly numbers are different, that still doesn't rule it out as any minor change, even if it's just the headrest, would create a new number.

Just checked the wiring diagrams for 2013 vs 2016. There are minor differences in wire colors, in some cases, but it looks like all of the connectors and pin assignments are the same. Meaning at least electrically, the early seats should work with a later LX.

@bloc thanks for those, I've been looking for those diagrams for a different idea. Not to derail the thread too much but can you confirm if pins 2 and 6 are the wires I would need to power a 12v receptacle? It looks like those are the main power feeds from the seat ECU to the seat itself. Looking to add a power receptacle back there that is wired hot all the time and tapping into the harness that was connected to the 3rd seats would be easiest.

No, without knowing what the seat ECU does to those wires before sending to the seat I can't confirm that. The only one I'd be comfortable tapping would be the +B into each seat ECU.. each has a 30A fuse from the battery, light blue on the RH ecu and red on the LH. I'm attaching the broader seat wiring portion for one of them from a 2013 LX

@bloc, perfect. Now that I see the top side of the schematic, I can see what you're talking about with the 30a fuse. Just checked the connector on the right side in mine and the blue 30a feed wire is definitely bigger than the rest.

I appreciate the help. Now back to our regularly scheduled show.

I have a full set, what color do you need?

Sending you a PM
