Saturday May 6th from 5pm-7pm. They will rope us off a section in front of the store. This will be an event to help them promote the FJ Cruiser. Most likely another opportunity for you to test drive it. Looks like it will be a great event.

More details to follow.

JP sticky please.

Honestly,

We really didn't take the silver demo FJCruiser offroad Saturday Night. Honest. That red mud on the front skid plate came from the factory. Right Alex? Gehn? JEFF?

What mud are you talking about?

I think that Malted shake at Sonic messed with my mind. Forget everything I said. That's right, we drove it to church that night and never exceeded 35 mph. Jeff was keeping us straight.

The real question is: After the test drive, which one of you guys / gals is going to be the first UC FJ owner????? :D

I think Mrs. Mary Hardin might be the one behind the aledged mud. Women can get away with a lot just cause everyone thinks they're so innocent...

I wont be able to make it. Closest meeting we have had to me too! I will be @ a wedding all weekend. Have to actually do the ceremony. (Like the preacher.) So it should be interesting. :)

Hope to make it out, although it wont be in the cruiser since its under a tarp for the summer until I come back or find a way to bring it home.

I'll be there, and early! Since I am coming anyway, I scheduled an appointment through Rick to have Lucky do a "tune up" on my 40. (Trying to figure if the rough acceleration is carb related). So, I'll be hanging out at Ralph's as of 10 a.m.

Will the parts department be open?

I just got off the phone with Robert Hayes. I cannot emphasize :D enough how much you need to be at this event. He has pulled out all the stops on this one.:bounce: This will be right up there with the annual event and BBQ. We really need to show our main club sponsor our support like they have for us all these years. Please try to make this event. Trust me it will be worth your while.;)

Just so you know how serious I am about this I typed this in MSword and did a spelling check before posting.

I talked with Rick and service will be open until 3 p.m. (making parts likely to be open until the same time). Rick said he is not working that day, but will be coming in for the UC dinner event! If there is any part you need someone to pick up and hold until dinner, I would be glad to do it! Otherwise, I'll just be hanging out in the TV lounge.
