Hey folks! I put this in Chit-Chat, and now wanted to see if I can further the word out to try and find a rig I once owned. 7/2009 I sold 'er, and didn't look back. Until recently. I was the second owner.
This kid (NOT a Cruiser guy- I should've refused the sale) buys it and sells it forward in 5 months. Now here is what I know:
Third owner kid was Dan.
Dan sells to someone in PA who IS a Cruiser fan- because HE in turn sells it to Matt from S.I., then buys it back.

Then I hear the truck is in a wreck.

The last 8 of the VIN is G1133833. A blue 60. May 1986 PD.

I'm trying to find it and buy it back if it's not totally destroyed now.
Anyone in this big (small!) 60 clan own this baby now?

Good luck on your quest bud. You have any pics of it? Anything thay is unique that might stand out from the crowd?

I have to check. I know it had FJ62 side mirrors, a knee dent in the glove box door, and was missing both front bumper ends, and the rear center caps. It also had a smaller-than-normal muffler and tailpipe. The shop screwed me lol

Happen to have an ETA on when Matt purchased it the second time? Sounds like somewhere in the 2010ish timeframe?

I know that the "PA guy" bought it from Dan (Dan was third owner, right after me). Matt is in turn the fifth owner after 4th owner, "PA guy". Matt then sold it back to "PA guy". Hoping that the mystery 4th and 6th owner is on here somehow. PA residents, you out there?

I've seen a hundred Cruisers, just like this!

Sorry, not very helpful. I really wish there was a VIN search option on MUD. Where members could insert their VIN numbers and you could track the history of your truck forum member to forum member. I know we have that Cruiser directory thread, but I don't think there is a way to search by VIN.

Okay, thread hijack over. Back to your search.

Thanks guys. I have to get a picture. It was pretty ordinary, like these things can be. They blend into the scenery unless folks like us know and notice them! (Though I did get couple compliments in the day! -interestingly enough, one guy stopped me on a main road in traffic; asked the year and said "don't give up on it!")

UPDATE: OK- so I have to drag the pictures from mtrdrms and Shmukter's classifieds back in 2010. That would be the only ones I "have". Again- truck VIN: JT3FJ60G8G1133833. 155k at the time. FJ62 side view mirrors. passenger snake blinder and rear center caps missing from factory chrome wheels. I still have these in my garage. Only visible rot was on both doglegs/quarter lip areas, rear hatch window edge behind wiper blade, and some superficial (at the time) surface things up front/valance/hood edge in the form of dings and chips. Driver seat edge tear. Dent in glove box door.

History I know: I, second owner sold it to a guy Dan also local on L.I. Four months or so later he sells to this guy "mtrdrms" on here from Torrington CT; Shmukter then buys it from him. Sells to Matt from Staten Island. Smart part: Shmukter asks Matt to sell back to him if he ends up not wanting it, which in hindsight I should've done. Dan was a real toolbag and NOT a cool Cruiser guy. Gary gets it back in his possession. Then, this is where it falls off. Gary doesn't have it and doesn't recall who/when/where etc.

If anyone knows anything, it would be cool to find out. I was looking to buy this back if it's not in parts on a hundred Cruisers by now, or worse some soup cans.

Thanks a lot guys!
