According to the manual on the 2013 models, 100W max.

I can't even get my Engel 30Q fridge to work, dealer says plug is fine, but nothing works! any suggestions?

Is it active? Did you turn the outlet on via the "ac 115v" switch under the mirror controls by the left knee?

Any report back Jupiterfx if your switch was on? I am considering a 50qt ARB and don't want to have to run a wire loom from under the hood. Is the 110 outlet only hot with the ignition on?

I figure the ARB pulls a full 5 amps in its initial cooling phase. 5 amps at 12 volts is 60 watts. Then when it kicks down 1.5 amps thats is 18 watts.

I would guess that even if the invert 110 runs when the ignition is off, that you would still want to run your fridge off of 12v. The inverter that changes the 12v D/c to 110 a/c will waste energy in the conversion.

You will be converting direct current to alternating current only to have the fridge convert that alternating current back I direct current. A lot of lost energy.

On the 2013s, there is no inverter switch. I am guessing that it auto switches based upon a load similar to some RV inverters that will switch from standby to on automatically. Additionally, the socket on my '13 is only powered when the ignition is on.

When I get around to a fridge, I will be installing some 12v power ports - probably powerlet style (like BMW motorcycles use).

Makes sense. I car camp a lot where power is available and other times in the middle of nowhere.. So most of the time it is just a question of getting there with the fridge running. It would really help my fridge decision to know if it can run off the 110v while driving.

For remote camping I am considering a spare battery and solar panel setup on my trailer. This keeps the entire set up out of my LC and separate from the wiring schema (dual battery setups etc). But then again that really pushes me closer to a full blown expo trailer vs. my current utility trailer conversion. Maybe i just need to bite the bullet and tow each time.

Decisions, decisions.....santa is waiting.

Even when I hit the AC110v button up front it doesn't work. I can't find the ACC fuse that is suppose to control that line. It's not listed in my fuse box under the diagramed lid. I was told if I pull that it would reset the relay. Kinda at a loss until I find out which fuse it is.
Other than that, I have an ARB 60Qt fridge and the Engel 30Q.- both are great. Only bought the Engel as it was on sale for $189 at Sportsman's Wharehouse. Small but functional, although its not digital and doesn't have the auto turn off regulator that the ARB does as it monitors the battery.

Could be a blown fuse from the PO using too many amps. I'd try there, first!

100W @ 115V is less than 1 Amp, so basically, almost anything could blow a fuse, besides maybe a cell phone charger. o_O

In the gcc spec cruisers there's no switch and also only runs with ignition. The fuse should be in thw smaller box under the dash it should be labeled in the owners manual. I singed the fuse once but it didn't blow :meh:

Not there. There should be a fuse box under your steering wheel and to the left. Above the foot rest and right behind the hood+fuel door release latches. Or that's where it is on my cruiser.

Should be the 15A one

*if anyone else has a fuse box down there can you confirm if you also have a smiley face drawn on it, or did whoever assemble this LC was really happy and had a good day?

Good god! That's impossible to get my arm down there!

Found the fuse box but my forearm is too long to even fit down there. I might have to ask my 4 yr old daughter for help!

I think there's 2 screws holding that cover and clips. No cover on my 200.

Update. I plugged my Dremel into the back AC Port and left it in the ON position (carefully placed in confined box) then turned the vehicle on.

After a few seconds I heard the Dremel begin to hum and then took off full-speed. Then I took my 4 1/2" grinder and tried the same thing and zip. Too much amperage required?

I guess this port does not have enough juice to power more than my Dremel :meh:
