This is hard to troubleshoot the root cause
Yes I understand but I am also confident it wouldn't be a costly repair. The hvac control panel, thermostat, and heater valve have been replaced. I suspect the issue is a relay, ground or a module. I just couldnt find enough information to troubleshoot but I know this forum members could help find the cause for the next owner.

Where in maryland ? asking for a friend......

Super cool Cruiser ! Wife will kick me out if I bring another Cruiser home :frown:
Is it just the heater that's not working or is the AC affected ?
Trade for a 40 buggy that I have way more into ?

Hi,
The ac blows cold. The ac compressor seems to always turn on so cant get heat. Unfortunately I am looking to minimize my cars so no trades at this time.
Thanks for your kind words.

I am interested but the heat issue is hanging me up. Have you had it looked at ? Any fluid leaks at the core ? Have you changed the relay?

Hi
There aren’t any coolant leaks
One relay has been changed behind the glove box
I haven’t had it looked at. When I reached out to my mechanic he was too busy. Now I have put too much money into it.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or need any more information.
Thanks

UPDATE: Heat works kinda
I know there is concerns about the ac/heat issue. I had some time this weekend to dig deeper in the area behind the glove box. I discovered a wire going from the positive lead on the blower motor to somewhere deep behind the blower. I had disconnected the wire from the blower and turned the heat on. I was able to get heat as the ac compressor didnt turn on however, the ac wouldnt work as the ac compressor wouldnt turn on. To make a temporary/bandaid fix I have installed a switch on the wire. This switch allows the heat to work when switched off and allows ac compressor to turn on when switched on.
