I have pictures and receipts for almost everything. I will try to list all that has been done.
1969 FJ40 clean title.

76 Front end rebuilt with 4:10 gear ratio. (disc brakes)

69 Rear end rebuilt with Chevy Disk brake conversion. 4:10 ratio.

Rebuilt sm420. (have receipt)

Rebuilt Chevy 283, Holley 600, Edelbrock intake. HEI ignition.

Saginaw power steering.

Power disc brakes, with proportioning valve. (new everything from the brake booster, lines, to the calipers. stops perfectly)

New Rancho lift with Man-a-fre 4+ anti inversion shackles, and Man-a-fre's U bolt flip kit.

Painless wiring Harness

IDIDIT tilt steering column with flaming river steering shaft and joints.

Mastercraft bucket seats.

New 35" Wrangler MTR's with Mickey Thompson Classic II's Wheels.

New Best top soft top with 2 piece doors.

RUST FREE CRUISER : sand blasted all small parts and took the tub down to bare metal to seal and paint.

You did a great job on that rig. What kind of MPG are you getting? and I take it both diffs are open?

Yes both diffs are open. I am getting 12 mpg average.

Here are some more pics. I put on about a 100 miles on the cruiser today and got 14 mpg... (mostly highway) Not bad considering my brother gets around 14 in his fuel injected 4.0 liter jeep!! I cant believe how nice the weather has been the last couple of days!! Makes me wish I could keep her!

Real quick and dirty run down...
Chevy 283 bored .60 over. rebuilt less then 3000 miles.
SM420 rebuilt, same mileage.
front and rear axles: rebuilt with DISC brakes.
35" mtr's Less then 3000 miles nubs still on tires...
This Cruiser is a great ride!!

Don't sell it I sold mine about 4-5 yrs ago very very similar to yours and I still hang out on this website! I did all the work also, now have a more family friendly 3rd gen 4runner but my heart is not in it.

I know! I know!! The reason I am selling is to buy a house!! (the only house that we agree on) Hopefully the house sells and I can continue with this Cruiser... I have been talking with several mud members and each time I tell them the story of this cruiser I fall back in love with her... It doesnt help that we have had snow on the valley floor. Makes me wish I could just win the lottery and keep everything!!! Thanks. Mark
