Thanks mates .. maybe the next year proyect are the ARB's with 4.88 and the front bumper .. or maybe first the bumper and then the axles .. :D I'm not sure ..

I would love to send my Tencha to USA and drive Tellico .. ( my dream ) I hope one day can do ..

BTW driving my 80 manual it's big fun compared to driving she when was auto ..

Man that's a sexy truck!! I always wondered what was involved in a manual tranny swap in an 80.

thanks ..

puntual things that you must need to make it work ..

1. tranny

2. shifter ( or at least to me .. I don't want to make adaptations in this stuff )

3. Flywheel

4. Pressure plate and disk

5. master and slave ( no adaptations here .. but should be posible )

6. pedals ( no adaptations here for my standards but should be posible too )

very nice job, you should be proud.

The winch POSITIVE wire needs to go on the TOP POSITIVE terminal of the Optima battery. The side terminals are not made for high amps.

Cheers.

Thanks .. I will move some of my low amps draw conections to the front and the winch to the top ..

turned out sweet! I have the H151, and wish I had the lower first gear. Oh well... i'm not complaining.

Hey, one note... connecting the winch to the side-post of a battery can lead to melting the battery. The side post is connected to the top-post internally, by a pretty thin piece of metal.

Very nice looking rig. Is that the original front bumper and did it come stock with fog lights?

Sure is a great looking rig! Nice job.

I like the rear bumper idea, I have to find a good welderfrend..
I got the orginal clutch from the 12v, but looking for it from the 24v. Who Isuzumodel got the right dim for the 1HD-T engine?
Got you in favorites now!

yes it's the factory bumper .. ( now with some cuts :hillbilly: and extra bolts ) those fogs are from a 100 series .. and a nice improve to the bumper .. :)

I'm not sure about the Isuzu model .. but it's from a NPR DI 4.3 truck .. IIRC but with the part number there is no chance to get the wrong part .

I saw your 80 .. looks you've been busy those days with all upgrades ..

Awesome- manual diesel 80!

Really like the 4 square lights and color of your rig too

Thanks .. I like the 4 squares coz you can make 'em all function at time ..

So can you use the Isuzu clutch on the 1HZ?

Yes .. as long as you use the H150 tranny .. actually Isuzu have 275mm and 300mm 21 splines disk ..

A job well done indeed, I really believe that Land Cruisers were meant to use manual trannies, it just isn't as much fun with an auto :flipoff2: .

Deberias postear esto en cruiserheads chamo, tremenda adaptacion que le hiciste a Marilu  .

As we already know this it's a never end road .. so I ( again thanks Tito ! ) source a nice factory Toyota winch bumper connector .. and didn't miss the chance to install it .. along with a killer swith that cut the V at the winch .. ( non approoved use )
