Sorry guys - I'm out. The news is saying that I-40 is closed in both directions from ABQ to Santa Rosa. Looking out the window, I would guess that we've got 6 inches or more on the ground and the snow is still coming down. I will be spending the morning plowing the road and shoveling snow.

By the way, it's the first day of spring! Have fun and I'll catch you next time.

sad to say i am out as well. the canyon looks nasty and my buddy at paseo/coors says he has 3" and its still snowing... this is what it looks like out my window right now. have fun guys!

Is anyone still going?

I'm out. Too much mud for me.

Sorry guys but I am out too.

Does anyone have a phone number for Paul (Bad Mojo)? I know he was planning on going and he may not have thought to check the list first. If anyone has a number for him, please give him a call and let him know that the run has been cancelled. I will check, but I'm pretty sure the member list I have doesn't include him.

We have snow here, but the roads are still bare.

I'm gonna brave it...I may not do too much "crawlin" but I'll go play for a bit.

If anyone is still planning I'll wait at the air down spot till 10:00am.

I have been checking the thread and haven't left the house left. Is this a good day for me to be learning?

To be honest...not really. I don't plan to do much, planning to stay in the truck, just goin for a little drive in the snow, probably the last snow of the year.

I am leaving the house in just a few minutes. Try to be at southern at 10.

I just got back from a run in the snow - and we're going to stay. I wanted to use today for Han to get some wheeling time, but probably not the best day for her start. Oh well, many days of sunshine and dust ahead.

So its Paul, Jim and me!
Ill see you both at the airdown spot!
Weather from the Westside, snow over, 28 degrees and light winds.
Wish you all could be here....

Daisy

Weak! An actual storm and I'm missing it.....

Hopefully the snow will still be falling when I get home tomorrow. I'm itching to go push some snow around with the Dodge (note: I can plow other folks' driveways too).

Dan

weather reports (like you need me to tell you, d'uh) say system is done now. but it's NM, and who knows what can happen??

my driveway is a wee bit far for you to push snow, but I can give you some names up in yr neck of the woods....

... I guess I will have to see how I feel in the mroning which way I want to go. Work will still be here next weekend, but you guys won't be there next weekend. OK, heads or tails? Heads, I go; Tails, I work on things here.

Sooo, didja go? Will be posting up a 27th thread shortly.

interesting, me too, a middle o the night call. didn't even use both axles till getting home, roads where I was weren't too bad. Shoveling snow this morning included slush in the bottom of every load.

Today was a great run with even better weather. The trails where all clear of snow and nearly dry when we started. It was nice driving my own vehicle for once; it by far exceeded all my expectations. I learned a ton about my vehicle and even more from Daisy and Jim. Sorry I didn't take any pictures, but I was too busy driving!

Let me clarify my "run" - I used both feet and ran about five miles. Layered up and attacked the trail.

Ooooh, my bad; you win. I used 4lo to come down the hill, and wore my 4" station boots to shovel snow this morning: you still win. ;)

Sounds like BMojo had a good time, hoping he'll come out next Sat, along w/the rest of ya'll.
