I'm still open for Saturday. It is supposed to be cooler, but I think most of the precip will be to the north and east. Maybe we should try a Puerco run for all who are interested. How about if we plan to meet at the end of Southern around 9:30 on Saturday?
For those who haven't been before, take 528 from the Cottonwood Mall up the hill to Rio Rancho. When you hit the street light at Southern, take a left and go ALL the way west until the road dead-ends into the sand dunes. I've never clocked the mileage, but I'd guess that it's 10 - 15 miles from 528 until the road dead-ends. We'll be on CB channel 40, or Ham frequency 146.460. Just in case, my cell is 238-7226.
John - from the east mountains (I-40 and Hwy 14), I'd guess that it will take close to an hour to get out there - probably between 45 - 60 minutes of driving time.
