Some people have had to cut off a protruding bolt or screw they were hitting above the axle. But I was able to adjust my system so it didn't hit anything.
I was able to revisit it today. I pushed the section going over the axle closer to the center of the vehicle to navigate that bolt. I believe that was the culprit. I also found the gasket slipped on the front section, so I fixed that too. I think I’ve resolved the issues based on one drive at temperature

Revisiting this thread as hottexhaust has their coupon making it $625 delivered. Thinking of replacing the exhaust on my '12 with the 19544 Magnaflow before I install the remaining skids I just got from the sale at RCI.

@Ohio Nori @BigSwede - still happy with yours?

I’ve since added the NYTOP hybrid bumper hitch receiver and had no issues with interference like others have noted with the OEM class IV.

You may want to ask about noise levels before installing.
I think I remember a couple of members not caring for the excess noise.
Unless of course you like to hear the engine all the time.
I could be mistaken...

Yep, still very happy with the tone. Nice and mellow. Most American pickups are louder. No flatulence.

While the tone/decibels will be the same between rigs, how the driver (and passengers) perceive it is highly variable. It won't bother some people at all but will drive others crazy. Since the Magnaflow system lacks a resonator and has a rather small muffler it would (from my exhaust saga) personally drone too much for me. Somewhat oddly, when my exhaust had drone issues, it really didn't bother my wife and kids at all, even though it bothered me.

If you have to ask "will it be too loud", then it probably will be too loud for you :). The best off-the-shelf drone-free option for a GX is a Dirty Deeds - not cheap but worth it. Otherwise, if you are drone sensitive there is a good chance you'll end up unhappy with a off-the-shelf exhaust and selling it, or hacking it up to add resonators (which I did). If you aren't drone-sensitive, $625 is a great deal on that exhaust.

FWIW now that I have mine dialed (with three resonators - a Vibrant, quarter-wave, and a Helmholtz), it sounds awesome without being intrusive and adds to the driving experience.

I'm good with V-8 drone. Even was essential to always press the "S" button on my RS4 (open exhausts flaps which make the exhaust sound louder and better.) Not a fan of the fart cans tho!

Is there an issue fitting the 19544 Magnaflow Overland and the OEM hitch?
