Skimmed the first coat of body filler on the seams and capped off the "nerf bars"

Yes that is a 6.0 LS. That may go in this winter.

Since no one caught it, this split case has the non US output and parking brake housing. It was on loan for a while to Kurt so they could do 3d imaging and start producing new units.

I love how low and stable this thing looks on a 2 1/2" lift and 35's!

did you change the transfer case output shaft? That part is different for the parking brake drum. About 1" longer.

I’m really thinking about going to a 2.5” on 35s as well on mine when I 60 axle swap it. Watching with anticipation

How’s your paint selection coming along?

I really wanted am original paint 40 but this one is no where close. It was originally Olive, then painted green, then camo. I really wanted to paint this Mustard yellow but have not found a close color in Rustoleum spray cans. I want to be able to easily touch it up.
I tried Tuscan sun agains a faded original Mustard yellow hood
I tried Gloss Orange just because it is my favorite color, see race car above
I tried Maui Blue that is a close match to my 78 40.

How’d your paint selection turn out for ya? I just finished rattle canning a few weeks back. (32 cans to be exact). I used tractor supply paint. Funny but I’m really happy the way it turned out out.

Yes, that all happened years ago when it was in my stretched40 build.
