Thanks for the details on this thread. There have been a couple of comments about finding the TLC 200 rockers for around $200. My internet searches are coming up with rockers for over $300, closer to $400. I have a 2015 silver LX. Very close to the LC silver. So would prefer that if I can find the right price. Any help would be appreciated. Sliders arrived this week, so I'll prob be cutting for now. But would like to do the LC rockers. Anyone know where they're selling for around $200?

Anyone have part numbers for the LC rocker covers?
I found this thread very helpful. I took the route of this post and took a couple photos to show what the poster was talking about regarding:
The “plastic grip” is what I’d refer to as a tread plate. It’s plastic and popped off very easily with the trim tool you see in the photos.
I also, due to my inexperience, erred on the very conservative side of how much plastic to cut off…I used a piece of tape to mark where I figured the line should be…then I cut about a quarter inch lower.
I plan to use sanders to form everything around the sliders once they’re installed.
Various combinations of the attached tools seemed necessary to fit sliders. Between the brackets that the sliders bolt to the frame with and the ahc components they squeeze between, there’s very very little room to get your fingers in there to start/tighten bolts

Definitely not a DIY’er here, but just acquired a 2021 LX570 (white/burgundy, 20k CPO)… liked the additional tech that this had over the same LC (along w/the current market $price inversion)…
I read through the 6 pages of great info within this thread, but did not see anything regarding an aftermarket OEM-type quality alternative to the OEM running boards? I ask this b/c my prior SUV - a 2015 Escalade ESV, had these great fold-away running boards, a functional balance of my SO’s need for a step-up into the vehicle, offset by my desire to streamline the one body-style characteristic that I really do not like…
Appreciate any/all suggestions or references…

Might have to double check they fit (I know it’s not an issue for 2008-15 LXs). But you could remove the Lx integrated steps and replace with LC rockers. That would give you a blank slate to work with at least. Not aware of any LC specific deploying steps, but wouldn’t be surprised if there was some out there. (You’d have to verify they don’t interfere with AHC).
Once you’ve converted there are a few companies that make sliders steps that work around the AHC components.. speaking of AHC, is easy access mode not a short enough drop to not need flip out steps?

I just bought a mint 2017 LX570 w/ 12k miles on it - black w/red interior, and per the sticker, $10k in options.Out of the horses ass.We have the sliders in stock. Right now we are finalizing installation instructions how to fit them on both the 200 and the LX570. As soon as they are done, we will start shipping.
My immediate concerns is the exterior aesthetics - loved my prior 100’s running board-less look, but the wife requires running boards… I’m hoping a good compromise is some sort of minimalistic RB, or the hide-away folding RB like I’ve had on prior RRs and Escalades…. Any ideas as good options?

This is great info. Debating whether I cut the current rocker or just buy LC units. Planning on the MetalTech sliders, since the have the additional plate protecting the AHC globes.
Can always cut first, and if you don't like it, move to the LC rocker cover. Note that you'll have to cut the LC rocker cover to fit the MT slider, it was designed on trucks with cut LX rocker cover/step, so it fits perfectly on those.

Slee is what I have and they also have AHC protection. And ground lights, AHC kit blocks it a bit but still nice.
So I went ahead and removed my running board and trimmed the mud flaps. I also mounted the running board light with home made S mount with some holes in it. Looks decent enough to me 
Ended up cutting the running boards when MetalTech 4x4 did the install and it looks awesome.
These are the beefiest rock sliders I’ve ever seen — you could hang the truck upside down from these things! Because it uses a plate to attach the frame (which the sliders bolt to), Mark mentioned there’s around 25 points of contact between the sliders and frame, per side. Incredibly well built. Excited to put them to use!

looks like in the photo you have no protection on the AHC?
I installed the CBI Rock Sliders and removed the OEM Steel Bars protecting the AHC.
Possible controversial opinion but IMO the AHC protection is not that important. I have v1 Slee LX sliders that have been on for 6-8 years now and have dragged my truck over rocks, tree roots, stumps, slickrock, mud—everything—and never even come close to having something contact there. These globes are almost 1/4" thick steel. You aren't going to puncture them.
