LX450 Headlight Woes (6 Viewers)

Took the truck for a cruise to town to have dinner with the wife. Got home to find a nice hole in my driver side headlight. I have a spare set of LX450 headlights and my question is this: has anyone successfully transferred the glass from the housing? The replacements I have are damaged at the mounting bracket—purchased them for parts.

I pulled the glass on a Land Cruiser headlight but haven't gotten around to installing it on the broken headlight. Here is some info on how to remove the glass. Be sure to use plastic tools to pry the glass off. I've done a couple Depos and thought I could get away with using a screwdriver but ended up chipping the glass.

I don’t have any photos of baking or prying the depos apart. This video and the other threads linked above do a good job explaining the process. I baked at 270 for 7 minutes but couldn’t pry it apart without worrying about damage so I kept putting it in the oven for 2 additional minutes until the butyl softened up. I probably baked it a total of 15 minutes to get it apart.
