LETS BE HONEST IF YOU ARE LOOKING INTO A LAND CRUISER AND/OR LX450 YOU KNOW THAT THIS MACHINES ARE AMAZING!!! THEY ARE EXTREMELY RELIABLE.

SHE HAS BEING WELL TAKEN CARE OF, ALWAYS GARAGED, OIL CHANGES BY OWNER EVERY 3000MILES. ALL MILES ARE ON-ROAD MILES, ONLY HAS BEING OFF ROAD 2 TIMES IN OVER 4 YEARS THAT I HAVE OWNED IT.

IT HAS BLISTEIN AFTER MARKET SHOCK ABSORBERS. THEY ARE NICE AND FIRM. NICE MICHELIN TIRES WITH 90% THREAD LEFT. AIR CONDITIONING IS NICE AND COLD. THIS IS ONE OF THE LAST TRUCKS WITH SOLID AXLES BOTH IN THE FRONT AND REAR. THIS IS A TRUE TANK. THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ANY MORE. Again - another newbie who thinks he needs to explain that these are the last of the solid front axle vehicles... really? I dont think you need to tell this group that... oh but then he tells us that if we are looking for an LX450 we know what we are buying....

Consider this a free bump but I really think we should restrict classifieds until you have been a member for 1 year.
 
I'd support that if it restricts posting rigs for sale, but not restricting those of us n00bs who are trying to get into our first LC and want to buy from reputable, knowledgable, trustworthy owners. ;)

This is a website devoted to land cruisers most people here know what they're looking at.
 
A Little Confused

I am only trying to sell my truck.

I do not understand where a person that thinks they know more then others has anything with me trying to sell the truck.

You can ask me anything you want to know about the truck, but where my confusion starts is where someones inferiority complex starts showing. There is no need for you to try to put someone down. It is a classified add if you do not like the truck do not buy it. Or if you have a questions I would be glad to answer it.

I never said I am a professional land cruiser owner or that I know more or less than any one I am just posting what I think is pertinent to my truck. If it is something that you are looking for great if not then look at the next add.
 
The butthurt is strong here. Try coming down off your pedestal and realize that everybody here does not know as much as you. If you are not interested in buying his truck then leave em alone. Seems like a fair enough price glwts.
 
Nickslexi, 1st of all he is not a NOOBee as he joined in 2007. Secondly, one can flip your flippantness and state that many LC enthusiasts on this site want to purchase a LC for allot less than one may be able to get elsewhere on the planet. Lighten up francis..........
 
yeah, agreed. Stop busting balls in other peoples for sale threads. It's common courtesy to just not respond. The "if you don't have anything nice to say..." rule.

Slightly overpriced (perception) just isn't the same as the one thread in here now where a guy (dealer) bought a truck for $9K and then posted it for sale for $14K here the next day. THAT is the only circumstance where it's okay to razz a little....obvious flipping.

If you don't like a guy's price then keep it to yourself. Unless they ask for opinions.
 
I agree, don't shun others just because they might be "new" to the forum... Doesn't mean they aren't knowledged. Also, why be rude to someone who carries the same common interest as yourself??? We all love cruisers here, and that alone is cool. I too am new to the forum but been into cruisers for years and owned a 40 and a 60. Looking to get an 80 or a 450 soon and will appreciate all the knowledge your "senior" mudders have to share, not the sarcasm. Puts a bad taste in your mouth.
