Suh-weeet!

That's good to hear. I hoped to motivate others. Have fun with it instead of some long drawn out build.

What a great pic. Can't wait to be part of the patina LVs back on the road. Soon I'm hoping. Soon.

Wow. That's another great LV pic. What lift on that one? Or is that Woutters old LV? If yes then i already know about the suspension.
We gotta have an LV event in the future.

Jack,
Your influence has traveled far and wide, coast to coast in fact. I am into my build on the Farm Fresh LV but have not had a chance to start a thread. Body got a lot of attention recently from some one much more skilled than I but don't fear the patina is staying! New floor, rocker panels, rear quarters and rear sill. I do hope to make the trip out west one day so you can see it and I can see some others.

That looks great JLawson! Do tell more. Did the shop your using fab all those panels?

yes, Kyle Yocum at Yocum's Signature Hot Rods has done all the work. I am really happy with all his work. He fabbed it all from scratch, the rockers are made of 4 - 1/8" thick pieces cut on his cnc plasma. should be nice and strong and a much easier fab because of all the shape in the rockers. I told him there might be a market for rear qurter panels and rockers if people are interested, I can ask him what he would charge. I am now getting on with fitting shifters, radiator, heat, a/c, and all the coolers. then wiring the whole thing! Should be fun!?

Yes, ask him please. I would be in for two corners and both rockers. If he did the rockers on a CNC, he should still have the program. Un-welded would be fine with me.

That sheet metal work looks great. Wish mine was that nicely done.
It's really cool to see this many LVs being brought back with the intention to use and enjoy them. Guess we should get an LV Roundup going.
For now here's an LV by the giant Juniper tree pic from this weekends trip.
