I wanted to share my experience mounting and using the Lutz Auto speedometer calibrator. From what i could read here, it seemed like most people zip tied it to somewhere convenient, but I found another way that I thought could be useful to share. There is a grounding point under the vehicle that is in a great location to mount the device to, so I had some 1/8" aluminum plate laying around, cut it, drilled it, tapped it, and then mounted is securely. Its pretty easy and dimensions aren't super critical. Just drill one hole for the mounting point, and mark the two holes needed for the device and screw it to the plate. Overall the device works perfectly and was super easy to use.

Installed the Lutz calibrator last week. So far it's awesome. If there's any lag at all you have to really have to be watching for it. Combine that with the ease of set up and install and it's worth every nickel. Great build quality too. You can tell he's been steadily improving it because the model I got now has a silicone gasket included. Great product!
