Lug nut help for 93 style wheels

I bought these from another Prado owner and repainted them. Not sure if they were dealer installed or came from the factory with the Prado RZJ90s that were imported to Chile. No Toyota markings on them, only JAPAN is written on the inside.

CDan, can you help identify them from this photo?

It looks like the Lexus LX450 wheel in the US. The Lexus wheel differs from the Toyota one with the rib in the middle of each spoke.

Yep. They could also be the wheel used on the 40th anniversary...

I'm just trying to see if anybody can spot differences between these and the OEM LX450 or Anniversary wheels, aside from the "generic style" center caps.

RE: cheap lug nuts - Peerless Tire Co. has had chrome tapered (non-washer) lug nuts in the M12x1.5 size for cheap - not sure the price, but considerably cheaper than Checker/NAPA/Autozone places. The chroming won't be the quality of Toyota chrome lug nuts, but it's ok. Their tire chains are also relatively cheap, too. For washer-style lug nuts, eBay is supposed to be 'the place'

they do look like lx450 rims but if they were toyota then there would be a code stamped on them giving the dimensions along the lines of JJ16x8. Also, if they came off an lx450 they would be 16x8 rims which would be pretty wide for a prado, which usually has 16x6 alloys.

They do show 16x8JJ, I bet they're not Toyota, but ptobable made by the same company that makes them for Toyota. They're not too wide for the Prado at all, tires stick out only about 2 inches from the body and it feels a lot more stable now. The reason I got them was to get a wider stance.

could be worse; i just mounted a new tire wheel set to find out i need 24 new shank style lugs Dealership 6.97 each Napa 7.63 each both have to order. I'll be headin to junkyard before i drop 175 bucks on lug nuts.

Since you are the wheel guru in this thread. Wasn't the difference between the 91/92 FJ80 alloys and the 4Runner and SR5 mini alloys the steel inserts? I had heard that the lighter duty applications did not get the inserts. I know there is also the difference in the coating vs. machining too.
