OK, let's get this going...

What: LSLC-Austin Halloween Weekend at Boulder Creek
When: Nov 1-2
Where: Boulder Creek Trail Park - Marble Falls, Texas

We are working on getting a deal with Boulder Creek so that the club members can wheel/camp for free (the club pays for it out of our funds at a reduced rate).

The preliminary plan is to meet up Saturday morning and leave on Sunday.

For those that have not visited Boulder Creek, it is a private park operated by Boulder Creek Ministries and is less than an hour from downtown Austin. It has trails for all levels (beginner to hardcore).

I know Jody, Matt and I are going out to B.C. to cut a trail or finish up one this weekend. I know Sean said something at the meeting it will depend on if B.C. furnishes a throw down (food) or if we will be funishing it ourselves and a couple of other things I didn't quite hear (lot of people talking) even though I was across the table from him. We'll see check some things out this weekend. Jody seems to know Jeff pretty well, so we'll start there and let him know what weekend we're looking at.

We went trail scouting last weekend and there is a lot of potential out there!

I would like to propose:
* We camp/meet at Camping Area B.
* What time are we meeting?

Camping area B sounds good. That's where we stayed last week. Maybe we can camp farther away from the main road this time to minimize the dust from people driving by. Just a thought.

Camping area B is good. We can either plan to meet up in Austin and convoy out together or meet up there at 9am??

Jeff B. and I were talking, I think I am going to try and go up on Friday and get things staked out for everyones arrival, not sure who else wants to go up that day. Something we didn't do on Saturday was to speak with the managment concerning the weekend and what it was going to cost the club for the shindig. In realtion to that, we didn't know the head count of people. I would presume everyone, but I don't know how many people we have in the club or the extra golks (kids, wives, girlfirends etc).

How about we move the date? I can go 1 week early or 1 or so weeks later.

Unfortunately, I can't do one of the other another weekends. If its crowded, I'll make the best of it. Or if everyone cancels, maybe I'll go to Padre and camp down the beach.

I'm fine with that. I should have my truck done by this weekend so whenever works for me. It is a bit of a small area to be having large crowds currently.
