I'm out. My wife has a conference in DC and she want the boy and I to go.

You can go to Boulder Creek any time. I'd go to DC and enjoy the fall weather. I guess that means I'll see you Saturday at the wrenching party?

Put me down for the event! I am not a member of the Austin chapter but I highly doubt the requested 12 rigs from Austin only will make it. Now if we can make it a bi-city event the chances are very likely.

Everyone is welcome to come out to play and have a get together but just so there is no confusion, the Austin members will be free as the Austin club will pick up the tab. So if you are in San Antonio or Dallas but are also a Austin member then you and your family with one truck per membership are in free. If you are to participate in the wheeling for the wounded then that will be an out of pocket donation to the wheeling for the wounded. This is a good thing. I plan on donating what I would pay to wheel on a regular day. This does not mean you have too.

If there is a by-city cooperation then there club will be responsible for the moneys paid for you if you are not a Austin member of the LSLC or you will be. There will be a list of members put up front and as you are checked in then you will be checked off.

Just to clarify, I think what Josh meant was bi-city attendance at events. Alamo City Land Cruisers doesn't have dues and therefore no budget exists for the kind of thing Austin is doing. While there are obviously good things about not having dues, there are also negatives, like...not having a budget. While I'm a member of LSLC-Austin and I guess I'll get in free, I'll still donate to Wounded Warriors because I agree that it's a very worth while cause.

BTW, Kelly and I were talking the other day and were wondering if notice is sent out to members when there membership to LSLC-Austin is due for renewal. It seems like a year is coming up but we're not exactly sure when that date is. Any way for us to find out?

Ok - yes i worked a deal with howard (in this type of sinario) 20 to 25 people and 10 to 12 rigs $300 flat fee that austin chapter pays for - if this number changes then the fee changes so we need a roster made of full names with drivers rigs and passengers so they can be checked off at the entry office - the roster needs to be completed by the next austin chapter meeting - to do so you need to pm or e-mail jason or myself or show up to the meeting - also the next discussion in need is food for sat night dinner - jody can get us 10lbs of fajita meat that feeds oprox 50 people ???? For $55 or a case ( 12-16 ) of rib eye steaks for $65 - other condiments will be additional at heb prices - condiments will be up for discussion at the meeting ( bring your own favorites or club buys basics )

Dues are due by the end of March... lets get it on, I have to fix my truck, broke it doing donuts at ICBM.....

It was just the power steering pump and the ram. The first replacement pump I modified too much and blew that pump up too. Ram will be here today and the second modified pump is on and working. The wife will be driving at Boulder.

This is what will be going on out at boulder creek also. We can participate and enjoy everything they have to offer they also will be at the first camping site.

Hello Jason, attached is a flyer to event.

I wanted to let you know of an event the Midnight Four Wheeler's are hosting on May 2&3, 2009.

Our club was selected as the host club for one of the 26 events to be held in 2009 in the US for Wounded Military Men and Women. The website for the organization is Wheelers for the Wounded.

I have been working with BAMC/Fisher House (San Antonio) and Fort Hood (Kileen) event coordinators and we have worked up a budget for this event. We are holding main event at Boulder Creek Farms on May 2&3, 2009 and transporting 500 wounded military men and women with their families from both locations. We will have a large entertainer (Maybe George Straight), and many activities for the whole family. The Honor Guard will make a Flag presentation, National Anthem and Military Fly over to begin ceremonies.

I am working with many corporate sponsors such as Waste Management, HEB, Valero, Spurs, Holt and many others.

Our current budget is about $35,000 for this event and we are in the process of obtaining sponsors and fund raising.

The purpose for this e-mail is to get information to your club about this event. I have an event on Nov. 1st @ Boulder Creek Farms and they are donating the Pavilion as well as donating back some of the proceeds from each paid entry. I will have a raffle and dinner for more fund raising monies.

Here is a current list of raffle items:

Well, the whole point is to benefit the charity being sponsored. Why don't you make the donation to them for entrance to the park? It all works out the same.

This scenario was mentioned/discussed at the meeting last night. I know I'm going to donate a few bucks plus buy some raffle tickets to help them out. It's just a good thing to do to help out the guys who keep us safe which allows us to do what we like to do freely. Hope to see everyone, plus a few moreout there Saturday:cheers:.

Just for that point you will need to already be a member..... We are not doing this to put the club in a deficit. You are more than welcome to joint and help raise the monies though to do things like this.

As I understand it from Jason, Midnight 4x4 will be set up in lot "A", so we will be at "B". I will be there tomorrow afternoon setting up camp and Jeff B. will be there later in the evening. I'm planning on being there around 5 p.m. +- so I can have a little day light to set up.
