I can probably do the weekend after, as the week before my work requires me to be in Weatherford. I forgot, who else besides the Minighters will be out there (besides us)?:hmm:, I know probably alot of ATV folks will show up. Anyway, whatever is decided needs to be decided fairly quickly.

OK. Let me send out an email on the club list and propose the weekend be changed to Nov 8/9. Can one of you (Sean or WL) check with the park to see if that weekend is clear?

I'm O.K.with any weekend other than the 25th. I won't have a chance to get out to BC this weekend (well, this weekend either..LOL!!), but I could make it out there on the 18th, but Sean may have a an op'tunity to go before I do, so if he finds out anything I'm sure he'll post up.

I really don't understand why we should move it. So what if there are other clubs there they are raising money for a good reason. This is a fund raiser for the big event in Katemcy at the beginning of next year. I will be there that weekend to show support and to talk to other wheelers that is if I am still here. My luck they will ship me out the week before.

Wheeler's for the Wounded - Texas4x4.org

Link to it on Texas 4x4. It has been changed from trees to mason though from what I here.

The Halloween weekend run from what I understand is to raise money for the band during the event.

The wheeling for the wounded is hosted by midnight 4x4 and we reall should get involved. It is a national deal.

No one said it wasn't a good cause, I think people were concerned that it would be a bit crowded and noisy since the "750" is closed.

Suppose to go to Switzerland for two months for work. I resemble the loud buggies remember 454. It will be a good party with others. we can't afford to have the place to our selves....there should be plenty of kids.

Well I'll do whatever, chances are if we don't have our event that weekend I'll be going to BC for the veterans event going on.

After thinking about it, I think it would be a pretty good idea just to keep on keepin' on with our plans for the weekend. I don't see whay we can't wheel along with the Midnighters, and the ATV guys we can just run over:steer: LOL!!! I know we were kinda looking to do this with just us, but, other people will be there regardless. I know these other guys will have tube buggies with big motors and probably a lot bigger tires, which means they can get into more trouble- be kinda entertaining I think. I could use to watch and learn myself. Be more folks to B.S. with anyway... We can do our thing, whilst they do theirs or we can interact with them.

I won't be around a computer 'till Monday, so I'll check in then to see what's decided. Later - Dubya'

me and jody are going up on the 18th to cut more trails ( and whoever else wants to come ) i also think we should stick to our plans . hell they always say the more the merrier right . so i say bring it on baby:beer::beer: besides we dont have to camp at parking lot b . what about the r.v. parking area? because the last few times i drove through there i saw about uuuuummmm zero r.vs. in that area . also even if the 750 was open the camping area would still be the same . so im in for sure . my wife even put it on the calander in non eraseable pen:bounce::bounce2::clap:

I really don't think it will be too crowded, Dave. I was skeptical about the size of the park before I was out there two weeks ago. Even with the 750 closed, there is still a very large area to wheel in and it's growing monthly thanks to all those volunteering to make new trails. I'd be surprised if there are trail traffic jams.

Hmm 18th, I'll be taking sunday off to take hunters safety course:rolleyes: I might as well just take the whole weekend off. I'm in to cut trails.

OK, looks like we are keeping the original date.

O.K., what's the story on our Halloween run or are we going to bring it up at the next meeting?

Shawn and I were Discussing the event at the end of a trail while Jody was off being Jody. He said something along the lines of if we can get at least 12 trucks in the park for the weekend it will be a flat $300.00. They must be members of our chapter as well. Maybe Shawn will post up more info then that.

Include me as one of the Austin chapter members. Kelly is a member too and I believe Josh also recently joined the LSLC-Austin.

I'm out. My wife has a conference in DC and she want the boy and I to go.
