:idea: 1 Vintage adjustable window screen, a hole drilled in each corner. 4 long machine screws, 4 nuts for height adjustment= griddle screen :hillbilly:

Like someone said, turn the heat down and the splatter will be reduced greatly. I can't imagine cooking on high--how the hell do you not turn it to charcoal?

The oven works great, but if only doing a small batch the microwave works just as well. About a minute per slice.
