Got everything finished up on the hyper spark system this evening when I got home from work.

Also put the new cruiser corps seat covers on and hand cut some new foam. I’m pretty happy with the product. The corners are a bit meh. But they look and feel 100% better.

Spent the day with Lou and the Goblin today. This is one fine ass FJ40. True attention to detail everywhere.

Top is going back on tomorrow with a fresh set of gaskets and a new headliner.

Also, I took the Goblin for a spin before I pulled it inside for the top.

I’ve not driven a V8 FJ40 in a long time that was 100% dialed in.

Holy crap this this is ridiculously fast. It steers and handles amazing as well. 80 mph is smooth and straight as an arrow.

Gotta get it up to the Hammett sand hills when it cools down a bit

you can see how the pitman arm actually dropped the steering arm lower that it needed to be.

not much of any real news, but I was able to swap out the boogered up tie rod end and added the flat pitman arm in place of the 2" drop originally sent with the saginaw kit.

geometry is way better now. nice and even.
