There was a very thin plastic gasket on the back side of the face of these warren hubs. Does anyone think that silicone would be a bad idea, since the hubs aren't made anymore?

prolly keeping drums....too easy at this point....

currently have all brake lines removed and fuel line out now. un hooking all the electrical under the body.....debating on full removal....next on to rear drum disassembly and underbody grinding.....

i stink......

once you go rear disc you will NEVER go back.

ill buy the discs if someone comes over and installs them for me.....im not trying to take the spider gears and s*** out.....

It's actually really easy. I did it on mine. Piece of cake.

You can source the individual pieces for way cheaper than $400 tho

true....and i can use the new drum shoes and brake lines and hardware i have and not spend any $$.

I didn't pull my axles. I cut the backing plates as far as possible with an angle grinder. Then I pulled out the cold chisel and BFH. Oh and hearing protection!
