Loud, tire rotation speed buzzing from front/right part of LC

I'm confused as to why the other mechanic needed to pull the front shaft out at all?

The birf shaft's connected to the drive shaft?
:rimshot:

The tow truck driver removed it, the shop installed it.

She's starting to pout a little bit every time they move her. The stalling out on startup reminds me of a toddler screaming, "no! I don't wanna!"

For a girl who has been raped as often as Rosy, she doesn't complain as much as she could. She is a little noisy, but that type of girls often are?:hillbilly:

Coulda, woulda, shoulda!?!?

Great job recovering from the mess they made in San Diego. What a horror story.

That new axle looks almost as clean as the unlocked one that I swapped out.

that's what I get for reading axle threads: we discovered birf soup today on the 80's passenger front

Hmmmm? It DOES kinda look a wee bit familiar.......

So, I made it to Iowa Park, TX, where I am going to pick up my sister and take her with me back to Iowa.

I made a blog entry about good guys, and what they look like. Something tells me they look a lot like Kevin and John, and though I haven't met many of the IH8MUDers, they look like you as well.

BTW, one last near crisis; I drove to Lordsburg NM last night and just after crossing the NM border, Marjan started making a horrible noise in the suspension, while shaking. I pulled over, and the sound and shaking went away almost immediately. Started again, and the noise and shaking started up again.

Damn.

Then it hit me: If you ever have your Land Cruiser start to make a loud noise and shake in the suspension, be sure to check if you're in F*cking New Mexico. If you ARE in New Mexico, it's probably not your Land Cruiser, it's just New Mexico roads.

BTW - I talked to some of you about my pics being missing from my trek thread. I've since fixed them, so if you want to see go over to this thread:

good news to hear you are rolling again

I got another part from Rosie (or is it Rosy ?) in my LX :hillbilly: - maybe we should keep a registry of "The Rosie transplant recipients club"

I think this picture sums up things nicely right now.

Marjan the Land Cruiser in his new home, safe and sound. Thanks to all the help I got from Kevin, John, Claudia and all the other folks at IH8MUD. The remainder of the trip was drama free.

Drama free is boring...

For us.

:D

Glad you made it the rest of the way.

Great to hear that Marjan is behaving better, starting to conform to the new role!

What is all of that white stuff? You picked the wrong week, it's been about 80F and sunny here, wearing shorts.:p

... from Rosie (or is it Rosy ?) in my LX :hillbilly: ...

Rosie, a female name,,, not so much.

Rosy, as in skin/surface color,,, check.

Rosy, as in her future isn't Rosy. Will be deprived of the good parts and at some point roll across the scale for 5.5 cents a pound or whatever they are paying that day.:hillbilly:
