Looking for knowledge to help me find 16" rims for my 03/80 - 40.

I have found a pair of yoko y742s's that I have had a hankering for for years used for 300$ they are Whicked tires.... I have tried to look for 16's and have had no luck and really dont know what offset to look for... I hear that I should be looking for a 16 with 6 on 5.5 3.5" spacing.... is this correct? and is there such a beast available ??? or has somebody had luck with any stock chevy rims?
Anyhow I submit my question to the yota gods....

use a 16x6 white spoke 3.75 bs I've run them on my 74 with no problem. They will work with either of the two sizes the 742's come in. Dean
