Also need advise on getting it roadworthy. I just arrived in Sydney, will drive south asap.
Any garages or enthusiasts around here?

I just flew in from Sweden and I plan to take this ol girl on expeditions the coming years.

I have had lots of Land Cruisers over the years, but this is my first 40 series.

Just found out with the lovely Service NSW that I can drive the truck to Melbourne without plates on a 28 day issued permit.

Visited Ken at Eureka and had a good chat.
I will keep the troopie stock with 2H and 4speed, and no power steering.
There won't be much city driving and certainly no pocket parking.
This is a serious build for a fossiker (gold prospector) and should be kept off road as much as possible.

A genuine one owner vehicle with 766999 miles on it (before the meter stopped).

Going to join the Victoria LC Club next.
