Hey all, looking for an 80 series along the East Coast (I'm located in New England), preferably with minimal rust. Would prefer reasonably lower mileage and around the $30k area budget wise. I have a 2018 Tacoma that I'd be willing to trade, and would be parting ways with it to make room for the 80 Series. Thanks!

If you've got 30 grand to spend on an 80, then it better have zero rust and tip top maintenance.

That's a good solid price range to get a nice truck. That said, if a west coast or SE corner of the US truck pops up, it would be well worth it to go that route (especially from a seller here on MUD - always get to know your seller) . You could get a weekend getaway to look, and the cost of shipping covered in there. Just a thought.
I will say though, that the 80 is elevated to the status to where there are great, well preserved examples all over the place.
80 series are awesome. Should be a really fun adventure. Good luck!

heading to Vermont from Colorado in a few months. Looking to sell or trade my LS swapped 80 with all the fun parts and spares and trailer build before I go and getting into a more highway minded van that can pull a small trailer and I can live out of for a few months while I solve building or buying a place up in northern new england. lot of moving parts to this story but the truck build is " Builds - Another Texas LS1 Swap - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/another-texas-ls1-swap.403256/ " PM me if your chin scratching is curious. Ideally i would trade or sell before i go and in time to get a livable van that can pull my small box trailer/garage

-Nearly every seal, hose or maintenance part in the engine bay has been done within the last year. Distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, harmonic balancer, belts, hoses, thermostat, fan and fan clutch, radiator, heater valve, valve cover gasket and more are all new. Nothing was wrong with it when I bought it but I wanted to do everything I could to make sure it was as reliable as possible so I did a complete maintenance overhaul. Most of what I replaced was kept as spares which will go with the car. All fluids have less than 1500 miles on them.(Engine Oil, Coolant, gear oil in axles, etc.)

Zero rust, can ship

Buy one from the west and ship it.

I have looked at too many New England cruisers and they always have rust. My trucks get doused with wool wax a couple times a year and it helps but is not equivalent to a south west truck.

There are reliable shippers here in mud.

Good luck
John

Nearly immaculate original paint and interior (good luck finding this on a southern truck). Everything works the way it should. Brand new leather.
