Was advertised as a paki top,but I had a feeling it was a little more special! Genuine mid to late 60s vinyl,canvas top.Until you have seen and felt a real fst,the quality is amazing.This thing is 40+ years old and all the zippers work,turn buckles intact,window good and overall just needs a good bath,I compared this one to the nos one Mark scored a while back.It has all the same features!Pretty stoked!

more pics Letting the unusual 70 degree day warm up the top to stretch it out,JohnnyC, do you know when the rear window went from the slanted to the straight,I have some literature showing a 70 fj40 with a straight rear window so I am sure this is pre 70!

That would be a great top to use as a sample to make a second "correct" top. I never find such cool stuff :frown:

Very very cool top :beer::beer::beer:

That top is a treasure!
Mine is now 32 years old, it´s still ok *.
Cheers
Peter

Nice find Whitey, my brother in law had a 71FST, I'll find a photo of when we drove our cruisers to Alaska in 1977 to check out that back window. (hijack) are you in need of a rear licence bracket and back up light? got some. John
