Is this the spot for this locking hub decal? I feel like I've seen it here just wanted to be sure. Maybe there's no right answer.

What year? The Krumsick Cruiser shows it on the Drivers door. (Photo courtesy of Land Cruiser Nation) View attachment 2341020
I would imagine if I had the defrost vents on the side then that is a good place for it. But given the year and no defrost on my 76, I think where I put it is the right spot.
I appreciate the response though. I've never seen that there so I learned something new.

I thought I also read that it was a dealer installed option so the placement could vary? Mine's in the same spot and I think it's been there for a long time.

I just saw the decal on the door last week. I agree. Not many options if you have the defrost vents.

dealer installed or shore installed, but all shipped from japan with drive plates till the aisin hubs showed up.

Are there any for Aisin hubs? My Warn instruction decal is not accurate anymore.

Good question on the Aisins, can't say I've seen one.

One-owner '76 here - dealer put it on the heater duct, which I kind of like. Keeps the dash cleaner, and realistically it's by the 4x shift lever, which makes a bit more sense than by the headlight switch.

Mine had dealer installed Warn hubs and they put the Warn decal on the dash next to the switch.

Yeah, it was a bit sporadic. Mine came through Lousiana, would be interesting to see if there was any correlation between P.O.E. or dealer and location preference.
I bought mine in Cheyenne but all most bought one in Casper and that one had Selecto hubs. So dealership must have bought whatever they got a good price on.
