What are the specs on the rear differential for a LJ79 and how does it compare/swap with what’s on the 80 series?

There’s a sweet looking 79 local-ish but the issues is a busted rear diff due to fluid loss. Says the gears are toast. I have a complete 3rd member for a 9.5” with an e locker for an fzj80 and I’m wondering would those two play well together or not.

Rear diff on an LJ79 is 8" with 4.88 ratios, so unfortunately your 80 3rd member is not compatible.
