LJ78 Engine Removal (1 Viewer)

Looking at overhauling my 2LTE myself. So I don't run into problems removing the engine.

How or what is the best way to split the transmission (a343f) from the engine to remove it?

Its the same with all 70 series. You either disconnect the engine and gearbox from underneath or remove the radiator and grill and slide the whole lot out the front.
Ive done it both ways many times , I dont think either way is better than the other. Its more a case of what you have to work with.
If you are not overhauling the transmission, then leaving it in place maybe easier.

Just download the manuals and follow step by step. I refreshed mine a few years ago and it wasn't too bad.
