ok lithium, redarc1225D and victron721 are all installed and to test it out drove out expo west and Im in Moab right now. works perfect the redarc has built in priority MPPT that the merlin solarpanel on alucab exped 3 is feeding. truck sat for3 days fridge running charging gopro nikon cell phone never went below 100% charged

When you use a Lithium Battery does it put out 12.x volts until it gets too low on amps?
or is it like a lead acid and slowly the voltage drops?

I was looking at a lithium battery that puts out 40 amp hours vs an AGM that has 65 amp hours.

I'm planning to use it on my fridge.. so which would maintain 10.7 volts + longer?

so far and its been used hard it maintains voltage all the way down, BUT I havent been able to drain it yet. AND its not capable of powering my extreme aire magnum compressor had to wire that to my starter battery compressor draws 80 amp at start up BS on LIthium kept shutting it down. just so your aware other wise its all good.

Thanks for posting that link. It shows the Lithium maintains the voltage much better that the other batteries, which is what is needed to keep the fridge running longer.

long run lithium kills it but for mass power like winch or compressor it cant keep up and this is latest tech battery and they are not cheap.

The respective BMS also is a big contributor to max draw capability of LiFePO4 batteries.

explain that a bit if you could. It acted like a huge fuse and shut everything down until I pulled neg cable and reattached. This was when the extremeaire magnum kicked on

What’s the resting fully charged voltage of your LiFepO4 battery?
