Anybody have a link to 60 axle specs. Such as width wms to wms. spring perch width and what not. The tech section had good stuff just not what I was looking for

Thanks thats a goood link, I have seen one for dana's thats lists good stuff like WMS to spring perch for all chevys, heeps and what not.

Was hoping to find a accurate mesurment for Pass side Wheel Mount Surface to center pin. On a FJ60

I "believe" track width is the same as WMS...hopefully someone can confirm...

if that's true, then hanger width = 1030 and track width - 1470

1470 - 1030 = 440 / 2 = 220mm

Ok only problem I have with that is that its is at least 12 inches from the spring to the WMS on my fj60 front. I guess I will do it the easy way and jack the rig up pop the tire off and see.

Where I am heading with is Trying to figure out How close a d44 from a chevy is to a 60. Want to see if I can get away with just shortening the long side. And moving the one perch.

I could think of all kinds of reasons to keep the toy front. But I quite thinking long ago ::)

Ok I was having a hard time with the numbers. And after looking again it looks like the EQ should be
1485-796=689/2=344.5mm convert to inches = 13.56

Which means that the d44 front I wanted to use will not be an ideal donor. Its 69 wide I was hoping to find a donor front that only needs to have one side shortened.

Why convert to inches? Metric is so much easier!

Yeah Easier!

After poking around, It seems that there is a 62 inch d44 w pass side drop that came in wagoneers. It will be six lug. I was wanting 8 lug but will just wait and see. I have good 8 lug parts but they are on afront thats 69in

FJ 60 58.46 inch, Wagoneer d44 62 inch wider is better. still going to have to find a good builder rear.

If I could find a 14 bolt w/fact detroit and 4:56 that would be something. But I have a better chance of guessing tonights lotto numbers.

Then tranny tcase decisions. 4l80e or nv4500, 300 or 205

Or the cheeper still route Carbed 350 to th400 205.

I like that idea. would save lots of cash but I will never get over not having overdrive.

Be advised I am not a hard core wheeler. Just want something a bit different

uuuhhhhh...check the track width and hanger width for a FRONT 60-axle....the numbers I noted were for the rear, hander width in front is narrower.g

Ok Ok I was wrong again. I appricate your help now I just need to work on my reading skills.
:whoops:
