X - 2

Got mine -- It's unfortunate that they didn't include a flat metal strap to mount it, but I'm glad it was noted on the invoice :)

Looks good. I just need to get a strap to mount it.

I tried using the factory U shaped tabs that hold the old school enblem on but was not having any luck.

I really wish they would have sent longer bolts. I don't think 2" is enough length. LOL

I am glad you are all receiving your badges! :)

I just want to remind members to please be nice when emailing about their merchandise. This morning I have already had to respond to 3 nasty emails sent to our fulfillment center regarding their orders. There is simply no excuse for that behavior. I have never been witness to such rude behavior regarding something as simple as a merchandise order. I just can't understand why people find it difficult to use common courtesy & instead choose to just be out & out rude because they haven't received something. It's amazing that our fulfillment center hasn't dumped us yet when they receive communication from our members filled with such hatred in them over a darn T shirt.

Mine were individually packed in Bubble Wrap and taped. The screws were bagged seperately. The directions and picking ticket were neatly folded. I cannot complain about the packaging or any part of receiving the order.

In all honesty, it was packed better than I would have packed it.

To damn pretty for my truck that's for sure and no mounting hardware whatsoever
which is no big deal mine will probably be displayed on a bookshelf.

Anyone in high temp areas experienced any probs with their badges? I've had mine on (really awesome badge) for several months and the TX summer really beat it up. The various sections are starting to peel away, etc... Curious if anyone else ran into this.

That really sucks!

I hope they offer these again and fix this issue. I remember a mention of issue with quality control. Hope this wasn't the issue.

We will replace it free of charge. Contact Jennifer.

It probably is. I have seen several that looked like that. I have directed that any that have a problem be replaced free of charge. Fortunately, we got some extra so we are able to replace them.

As short a time as they have been out, I would think the vendor should stand behind them and replace them.

Agreed, except "replacing" them is not really an option for the vendor, as there are minimum qtys involved, however cutting us a check is. I have been working with TLCA & Rising Sun member Chris Davis, who is our contact with the vendor to get them to refund us for their defects.

Thanks Jeff - I emailed Jennifer (I wasn't sure where to start).

I really like the design of these badges, they look great! Maybe if TLCA makes another set they will do a 60 series? :D All joking aside, I appreciate your help!

You're quite welcome. In TLCA, we'd strive to achieve the kind of customer service we'd each expect ourselves.

Happy cruisin'!

mickeyt-
Unfortunately, no. they were a limited edition item, so once they were gone, they were gone. We are working on another limited edition item right now, so stay tuned for that announcement, hopefully soon.

Any chance a new badge is or will be available anytime soon? I bet there are a lot of folks that would like to have one. Me included.

I finally got around to mounting mine, used a heavy duty 3" magnet and stuck it on my bumper.
Within a month the white lettering is starting to raise.

My suggestion for a future product would be to go fully chrome plated, with the design in relief/raised.
Or for less bling maybe solid pewter, so it patinas like an old "TEQ" toolbox.

Any ideas as to what the issue is? I happen to have mine hanging on the wall since I got it and am intending to mount it. Should I lacquer it or something?
