Hey Fellas!!

Got my lift finished up today, and thought i would post a few pics. Special thanks to Greg Bowie from G&S Cruiser parts, for his help with install directions, and excellent, excellent follow up!

Took me longer than expected, but it was worth it. The ride is firm but nice, and the beast definately sits higher. My dog is going to hate it... she had trouble jumping in the back before!

Heres a before/after shot

Cheers

Im a spring over man meeself, but she looks good.

TB

Other than ring spacers, how does one rid himself of cruiser lean ?

Red Herring The ride is firm but nice said:
you can remove 2 springs from the rear pack and the ride will soften considerably. the truck will settle so in a while you will need to replace one of the leaves. it sounds much harder than it is, you can remove and replace a leaf in about 20 min per side.
cheers

Do you mean the spring shims that people used to use, Kalawang?

My Terrain Tamer kit had different front springs for the driver and passenger sides. This got rid of the typical Cruiser lean.

I know Greg's 74 didn't have the lean either...does Belton use the same system to get rid of the lean Greg?

No lean Stone... X-ing fingers...hehe. The springs were sided, and the DS has slightly more arch. Now if i could just get rid of the lean in my wifes Volvo wagon!

Beautiful truck, same designer as mine huh? I'm with HZJ60guy though, nothing like a SOA.

Stone,

I'm very sorry. I thought it was an 80 series. I'm not very good at looking at cars.

say what?

It may have different names for your place. It's a plastic or metal ring that fits on top of your springs, comes in different sizes, adjusting the height of the vehicle involved at that spring. It's also called a trim tab. Some people use them as a cheap lift.
